From September 2 to 3, 2025, as part of JICA Training Program, “The Project for Capacity Development on Container Terminal Management and Operation in Sihanoukville Port (Phase3)” YPC warmly hosted 10 members of the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) during their visit to Japan. This marked their second visit since 2023.
On September 2, after the welcome speech by YPC General Manager Soga, a presentation was given on Yokohama Port’s “initiatives to develop a green port.” Following this, Tokyo Kisen Co., Ltd. and the Yokohama Barge Service Cooperative Society kindly provided their support and introduced their respective activities.
On September 3, the second day of the event, participants visited Honmoku Pier A to explore the cleaning vessel operated by the Yokohama Seikoukai and the green ship managed by the Yokohama Barge Service Cooperative Society. At Honmoku BC Container Terminal, Suzue Corporation provided a detailed explanation of efficient terminal operations, remote-controlled RTGs, and the trial run of CONPAS.
