On Oct 17, 2025, Yokohama Port Corporation (YPC) welcomed 10 trainees as part of the JICA Port Maintenance Planning Training Program, and provided lectures based on our practical experience from our engineers.

The lectures provided an overview of the Port of Yokohama （including Yokohama port’s Carbon-Neutral Port Initiatives） and YPC’s maintenance and management policy, the specific maintaining and managing methods we have developed through 60 years of experience.
The exchange of various opinions with the trainees provided a good opportunity for both sides to deepen their knowledge of maintenance and management planning.

Through these efforts, we will continue to deepen our relationships with domestic and overseas ports, while continually striving to improve the technical services at the Port of Yokohama.
