Commitment to the SDGs
The City of Yokohama has been selected by the Japanese government as an “SDGs Future City” and is promoting various initiatives aimed at solving issues with stakeholders in the three aspects of the environment, economy, and society.
We, the YPC, have also identified five key issues (materiality) from the perspective of sustainable development, and will continue to promote initiatives to achieve the SDGs, and aim to realize a sustainable society through appropriate cooperation with stakeholders.

Minato SDGs Partner Registration System at MLIT
In September 2022, we registered with the Minato SDGs Partner Registration System of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), which targets port-related companies, and received a certificate of recognition.
